Membership of the BCR&PA

Membership of the Association is open to all provided you satisfactorily complete a minimum of a 3-month probationary period, attend a suitable number of coaching sessions and pass the required police checks. (Membership of all "Gun Clubs" is subject to the Home Office Guidelines).

The full membership rate is around £224 per year!

A session shooting will cost you a range fee of £3 (£1 for Under 18's) plus the cost of your ammunition (which can be purchased from the Association). Club guns (air pistols, rimfire or centre fire rifles) can be borrowed from the Association free of charge.

To find out more about membership simply visit the association and talk to the desk duty officer.

Newcomers are invited to make their first visit on a Wednestday or Friday evening between 7.30 and 9.30pm.

Once you are a full member you will be able to apply for your own firearms certificate. This involves applying to your local Police force, and if the application is successful you will be able to own and store your own firearms. The Associations members will gladly help with your application.

If you just wish to shoot air pistols or air rifles you do not need a firearms certificate to own those guns.

If you have already visited our clubhouse and recieved a tour, please fill out the following Initial Application Form HERE .

You will need the Joining Code that will have been issued to you after your tour. Please note this form must be filled out by every member wishing to join and use the facilities.  Do not chase your application once sent, we have to wait for the relevent authorities to complete their checks on suitablility before we can issue a formal invite to become a probationary member.
