Welcome
Welcome to the Bedfordshire County Rifle & Pistol Association, a Home Office Approved and NRA-affiliated shooting club with over 250 members of all ages, genders, and abilities.
We offer excellent facilities, including outdoor and indoor ranges catering for various shooting disciplines such as air rifle, .22 rifle, gallery rifle, and pistol-calibre carbine.
New members are always welcome, and we provide coaching throughout your probationary period to help you develop safe and competent shooting practices. Membership is subject to a probationary period, satisfactory police checks, and attendance requirements.
The range is open Wednesday and Friday evenings, and Sunday afternoons (by arrangement) for general shooting. Monday evenings are reserved for special sessions, such as coaching or practical shooting. Our outdoor range can also be booked during the week from 8am to 8pm (full members only and subject to demonstrated proficiency).
Please note, we do not offer red letter days or “have-a-go” sessions. You must be a member to use our range facilities. However, if you hold a current FAC with the correct conditions, you may be able to attend as a visitor.

- Air pistol range shooting for .177 at 10m (non-FAC), or use the 25m and 50m ranges for other air pistols and rifles.
- Practical shooting, for those who enjoy a more "active" style, shooting rifles and long barrelled pistols on site and practical shotgun at our Kimbolton grounds.
- Clay pigeon shoots, off site, once a month.
- Long-range shoots at Bisley National Shooting Centre during the summer, from 100 yards up to 1200 yards.
- Our own Heritage section, one of only a few in the county.

There is a one off admin fee upon joining the club of £50 (or £25 for concessionaries) and membership fees are calculated per month (so unless you join in January, you don't pay the full annual fee until renewal time).
Once joined, there is a range attendance fee of £3.00 for adults and £1.50 for juniors each visit (to cover targets, backstop repairs, etc.).
Ammunition is available on site from as little as £5.00 for a box of .22 or £15.00 for .38 Spl (ammo prices may vary).
