Welcome to the Bedfordshire County Rifle & Pistol Association Web Site
We are one of the premier multi-discipline shooting clubs in the UK. With a dedicated membership of over 300 people comprising of all ages and sexes, and both indoor and outdoor ranges at a variety of distances, the Association offers keen shooting men, women and children the perfect facilities to pursue the sport.
This web site in designed as an information portal showing off some of the activities that take place in the Bedfordshire Country Rifle & Pistol Association to those that are interested, and is there to provide valuable information to our members, via the MEMBERS section, such as Association news, competition details and results, events and fixtures, for sale & wanted section, contact details and a whole load more.

The range is open Wednesday and Friday evenings, and Sunday afternoons (by arrangement) for general shooting. Monday evenings are reserved for special sessions, such as coaching or practical shooting. A diary of events giving details is available to all members of the Association.
Newcomers are invited to make their first visit on a Friday evening between 7.30 and 9.30pm.

Monday 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm (Special Sessions)
Wednesday 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm
Friday 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm
Sunday 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm
(Please note that the Range is usually closed on Bank Holidays)

Facilities
The BCRPA Clubhouse and Ranges are conveniently located on a secluded site not far from Bedford town centre and provide the following -
A comfortable fully furnished and equipped clubroom with pool table, licensed bar and drinks dispenser.
Indoor ventilated 25m full-bore range with 10 firing points.
Indoor 10m air pistol and rifle range with 6 firing points equipped with automatic target retrieval systems.
Outdoor 50m range for small bore, full bore and black powder use with 10 covered firing points.
Club guns and ancillary equipment available to meet the needs of newcomers and experienced shooters alike.
Safety is of the utmost importance when involved with firearms.
Our exemplary safety record is maintained by the provision of expert training and coaching.
All novices must undergo a program of training in safe gun handling and shooting before being permitted to shoot unsupervised.
